Noise forecasting presents data regarding noise pollution, allowing a prediction to be developed for specific targeted areas. Various factors such as traffic volume, industrial plants or construction projects are taken into account. With the help of mathematical models and simulations, we analyze the effects on the environment and develop possible noise reduction measures.
BEM (Boundary Element Method) simulation is a numerical method for calculating sound fields. It enables detailed analysis of sound propagation and reflections in complex geometric structures. We use these simulations in particular to optimize studios and sound insulation measures, for example, examining sound propagation or sound insulation at low frequencies. In this way, the room geometry can be optimized and recommendations regarding the placement of monitoring speakers can be derived in order to identify sweet spots at the listening positions.
