Following the renovation of the Theater an der Parkaue in Berlin Lichtenberg, a new grandstand with seating, new wall and ceiling coverings were implemented, as well as this the speaker system was also overhauled. During the planning, great importance was attached to optimal sound, speech intelligibility, positioning and directional reference to the stage. It was dimensioned in such a way that it had sufficient power reserves to be able to master demanding concerts. Nevertheless, the sound reinforcement delivers a homogeneous sound pattern even at low power and is suitable for playing in impressive multi-channel effects and spatial effects. This was achieved with two linear arrays, one on the left and one on the right of the stage as well as a center, front fills and effect loudspeakers in the auditorium with mobile monitoring on the stage.
