Media Technology

The media technology and room acoustics were planned for the newly designed meeting room for the Broadcasting Council in the historic Pölzig building “House of Broadcasting”. A full HD LED wall with a 1.5mm pixel grid, a conference system and a 4k AV infrastructure based on IP are used. The sound is provided via DSP-controlled sound lines and additionally via directional ceiling loudspeakers. The electrically networked conference tables can be easily separated and stored externally so that the room can also be used for other events. As a room acoustic measure, the entire ceiling and sections of the walls were designed to be absorbent and diffusing.
